Hello friends,
We’re all learning new rhythms and doing things in ways we are not used to during these exceptional times. At least I know I am, and that caught up with me over Easter weekend.
It went like this: I recorded an Easter Sunday morning sermon on Good Friday at daybreak, and while I felt it had some good content in it, it just wasn’t as simple and effective as I wanted it to be. So I reworked it and recorded a new version on Saturday at daybreak; one that I really liked.
But, oops, then I sent Michael the sermon I’d recorded on Friday – the first one (the wrong one) – which was then the one in the Easter services. Call it the “blooper” that ended up in the movie.
So I’m sending the version that I’d intended to send out on Sunday today, mid-week during the Octave of Easter, to continue our celebration of our Lord Jesus’ resurrection.
Be well and safe and know our Lord Jesus is near,
Tim+
