The fourth annual “Kayak for Clean Water” is a great family-friendly event sponsored by Christ the Redeemer to raise funds and awareness for the Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF)*and their work to provide clean drinking water to the people of South Sudan.
An excellent opportunity to meet-up with others, kayak, have a picnic brunch and take part in a hands-on demonstration of a simple water filter that can change lives.
9-11am at Lynch Park in Beverly (55 Ober St.- off Hale St.)
Admission to the park is free. Bring a kayak if you have one, or borrow on the day.
Please RSVP to Brent Fryling ([email protected])
Coffee and light breakfast refreshments provided. Donations accepted to the ARDF.
* Inspired by God’s radical grace, ARDF exists to empower Anglicans in the developing world to show the love of Christ to those in need in their own communities: Clean water for the thirsty. Jobs for the poor. Education for children. Food for the hungry. Hope for those without hope. To discover more about the ARDF and their projects world-wide, please visit ardf.org
