Dear Christ the Redeemer Family,
Today is Good Friday, and we are happy to share some meaningful ways that we as a church can join together to meditate on the Passion of our Savior Jesus Christ. First, we’ll be livestreaming the Stations of the Cross, accompanied by Scripture readings for each station and a few hymns, from 12-1 pm.
For the Holy Hours (1-3 pm), Michael Pritzl and Dan McKinley will be playing a beautiful medley of worship music. This will be livestreamed as well.
Finally tonight at 7:30 pm, I (Fr. Tim) will be doing a Good Friday Service via Facebook Live.
I encourage you to engage in one (or all) of these opportunities today, and to be reminded that Jesus knows our suffering and our sorrows. Take comfort – God is with us. The suffering he endured on this day brings us light, hope and salvation in the midst of our uncertain world.
