Many of us have questions about the great mysteries of the Christian faith.   One of the most misunderstood of these mysteries is the work of the Holy Spirit.   The scriptures are clear regarding the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives as Christians. Each person who follows Jesus Christ is given a gift that is to be used for the “building up of the Body of Christ”.

How do we discern what gift or gifts we have been given?   What does it mean when people use the phrase, “filled with the Holy Spirit”?   Or what is meant by the phrase, “baptized in the Holy Spirit”?

In order to address these questions and other concerns, our annual Fall Conference will be led by our Diocesan Bishop, The Rt Rev. William Murdoch.   Bishop Murdoch has a wonderful series of teaching that will help us to understand the answers to these and other questions that we have about the Holy Spirit.

The Fall Conference will be held on Friday evening, October 13 and all day Saturday October 14.  This is a very important date so please put it on your calendar.  Registration materials will be available at the beginning of September.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Grace and Peace
