Dear Christ the Redeemer Family,

Tonight, we celebrate the Great Vigil of Easter. Our Easter Vigil celebrations won’t look the same as they have in years past. But our hearts hold firmly to the same wonderful and unchanging truths about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that we’ve come to know and love throughout the years, and we receive comfort from his presence with us in a special way during this time.

I’d like to encourage you and your household to set aside a time for intentional rejoicing in our Lord’s resurrection, and in the hope that he has given us- a hope that endures beyond our circumstances, and that is even stronger than death itself.

One way that I invite (and encourage) you to do this by participating in Household Celebrations of the Easter Vigil this evening. Fr. Brian has provided an instructional video (below) and a written guide titled “Easter Vigil Home Celebration” to accompany it with an order of events and relevant prayers and Scriptures for an Easter Vigil Celebration.

Tonight at 7:30 pm, you can join us for a simple Easter Eve Reflection with Fr. Tim where we will peek over the horizon to the morning joy. This time of reflection will be livestreamed to the CTR Facebook page and website to conclude the day.
