Brent Fryling

Senior Warden

After growing up in the Philadelphia area, Brent had the privilege of coming to the North Shore for college where he had the greater privilege of meeting his wife Jodi.  After leaving the North Shore 25 years ago for medical school in Philadelphia, Brent and Jodi had no idea they would return here.

God’s gracious, loving, and wise hand has taken Brent and Jodi to medical school in Philadelphia, Family Medicine Residency in Lancaster, PA, to work in Ganado Arizona on the Navajo Reservation, work in inner-city Memphis for a Christ-centered health clinic, to work in central Asia in the detection and treatment of tuberculosis, to work at a mission hospital in the middle east.

Brent now works with an amazing team in a community health center just North of Boston where the diversity of patients and staff bring joy and fun to every day, and the mission of excellent healthcare for the underserved guides all that is done.

Brent and Jodi have two miraculous sons, Daniel and Isaac and one adorable Labradoodle, Willow.

Some of Brent’s favorite things are reading CS Lewis and Tim Keller, walking on Crane Beach, hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, paddle boarding, snow days, Thai curry and cilantro.
